Out of the Box Publishing recently came out with three new card games and boy was I excited to get review samples to try out for myself. Luckily I have a sister next door with six kids so there are plenty of opportunities to play games.

Laundry Quandary

A few months ago, I adjusted the settings on my washing machine. I believe I was on some kind of green kick and decided to switch from washing with warm water and start using cold. It seemed to me that using cold water would save on energy, which would help me reduce the size of my carbon footprint, and possibly save on our energy bill as well.

We’ve had more than our fair share of rain here in New Hampshire over the past several days. We Beans have been more fortunate than some, though. Yesterday’s wild storms and floods left many people with damaged homes and personal injuries. We’ve only gotten a thorough soaking.
