Getting What You Pay For

How do you handle it when you're eating out?

This past weekend my husband and I went out for dinner. I ordered crab cakes, and they were great, with big lumps of crab and almost no filler. Unfortunately, they were also lukewarm.

Breakfast For Dinner?

What's your family's verdict?

Tomorrow evening my husband has to work and will not be home for dinner. My three-year-old is thrilled, because this means waffles! For dinner!

Camilla loves waffles, and I love waffles, and my sister who lives with us loves waffles. They’re light, slightly crisp, buttery… with a topping of syrup and a side of bacon or sausage, what’s not to love? The three of us will eat them any time of day.

Quicker than Quick Cooking

I need your help!

I posted on Friday evening that we probably didn’t have the flu. By 5:30am on Saturday the baby had a 102° fever.

It’s a good thing I’m not superstitious, huh?

Over the weekend my sister also came down with the flu. My husband hasn’t gotten sick so he went to work today, but the rest of us are still quarantined and in sickie mode.
