I just discovered this interesting article on CNN about Father Theodore Heck, OSB who died on Wednesday at the age of 108. The article states that until recently his memory was very good. During the course of his lifetime he read thousands of books all of which he carefully wrote down and kept track of.

As a lucky genetic gift from my mother, I have an excellent memory.

It’s impolite to brag, but I scored 100% on this logic test.
Alas, it takes more than logic to wow my children. When I ask my kids to “Please fetch the thingamy to the left of the whatzit in that room upstairs with the…the…oh, forget it, I’ll do it myself!” they’re a little less than impressed with Mom’s mad reasoning skills.
