Breakfast For Dinner?

Tomorrow evening my husband has to work and will not be home for dinner. My three-year-old is thrilled, because this means waffles! For dinner!
Camilla loves waffles, and I love waffles, and my sister who lives with us loves waffles. They’re light, slightly crisp, buttery… with a topping of syrup and a side of bacon or sausage, what’s not to love? The three of us will eat them any time of day.

Here’s a great resource for Catholic men (and for those of us who have ever wondered just what on earth is going on inside men’s heads):
The latest video posted at the Knights of Colmubus website Fathers for Good features Dr. Richard Fitzgbbons, a Catholic psychiatrist. Fitzgibbons takes on the challenging topic of men and their emotions: “Learn how to control your emotions without denying them—and live a healthier life at work and at home.”

For the past few days, Catholic men from all over the country have gathered in Phoenix for the Knights of Columbus’ 127th Supreme Convention. The event has been well covered in the Catholic media, with the opening day’s events covered on EWTN, Catholic TV and by multiple bloggers and news agencies. Fish Tales

Do any of you remember this little fishy?
I blogged about Ambrose catching it last June—he was so proud.
While my fishermen don’t usually keep their catches, this one was big enough to warrant keeping. And stuffing. And mounting.
We brought it to the taxidermist (along with a piece of driftwood to mount it on) and on Friday we got the happy news that the fish was ready.
