It’s easy to forget what a lovely world I live in sometimes. But that’s what kids are for.

The other day 8-year-old Juliette asked to use my camera. I was pleasantly surprised by the prettiness of the worldview I found in its memory when I uploaded the pictures today.

Wise As Serpents

The Vatican released some cute video and photos of the Holy Father being introduced to the fauna of Australia today: a kangaroo, a parrot, a koala. I think I’m not the only one who found the second image here rather arresting.
