Coffee Break

I think I need one

SO I’M WRITING TO UPDATE YOU ALL, woah, ahem. I’m writing to update you on my coffee endeavors. They have been AWESOME. And then, a little too awesome.

For starters, it turns out my system is very (very! very! very!) sensitive to caffeine. I knew that, but had forgotten. I love caffeine, but have to take it in moderate amounts. Otherwise, the universe is no match for my brilliance.

But red shoes—that’s where it’s at! I own a pair of red Dansko clogs—Mary Janes even!—and once the weather cools I will wear those shoes everyday until Spring. For me, they are... READ MORE

What Child is This?

Coming up with a name for your baby

When Henry was born, I thought we had a name picked out. Turns out, the name I like didn’t really jive with my husband. I didn’t know this until after the baby was born and I told people we were thinking about (insert name here) and then Paul kept adding “but we’re not sure.”

Eighteen hours and 10,000 baby names later, we arrived at Henry (a name that had been on the short list with every other boy... READ MORE
