This weekend, I received a relatively frantic email from a mom of a very inquisitive four year old. In her note, she asked for input to answer two specific questions her little philosopher has posed to her:
1. Why did God make me?
2. How did God make me?

I have noticed a trend among newer preschool television shows that involves one or more of the characters having a speech impediment. Have you noticed this?
I’m curious about this phenomenon, mostly wondering about the reasoning behind it. Does this kind of talking sound more appealing to younger ears? Is it to make a child who has a speech issue feel more at ease about it? Maybe it’s to show that... READ MORE
An Atrium Success

Camilla had her first day of Atrium on Friday.
First of all, we brought home a cold. The kids woke up with runny noses this morning and I looked up the incubation period for the common cold: two to five days. If we didn’t catch it at Atrium, I’ll eat my hat.

Homemade Play Doh

When I was a kid, my mother always made our Play Doh. I have fond memories of choosing the colors and squishing the still-warm dough between my fingers.
