Presidential Punchlines

Did you watch President Obama on TV last night?

Last night, Jay Leno and President Obama made history when Obama became to the first sitting president to appear as a guest on a late night talk show.

I didn’t watch the interview, but I’ve seen a few clips around the internet and read a few reports this morning.

Some of those reports are angry reactions to a casual “joke” made by the president about his poor bowling performance being like the “Special... READ MORE

President’s Day

Let's pray for our leaders

God of power and might, wisdom and justice,
through You authority is rightly administered,
laws are enacted, and judgment is decreed.
Assist with your spirit of counsel and fortitude
the President and other government leaders of these United States.

May they always seek
the ways of righteousness, justice, and mercy.
Grant that they may be enabled by your powerful protection
to lead our country with honesty and integrity.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Presidential Pockets

Mary's in!

It’s been reported that President Obama keeps a collection of “trinkets” in his pockets as good luck charms. In this photo, he gave reporters a look at some of them.

Do you see the miraculous medal? Our Lady is in the President’s pocket!

Let’s pray she’s doing some of her very best work in there.
