on Relevant Radio

Hey guys! Today at 6:30 pm EDT I will be a guest on Relevant Radio’s A Closer Look with Sheila Liaugminas.

We’ll be talking about our culture’s discrimination against children and large families. You can listen online and call in—I’d love to hear from you!

The Broadcasting See

read more about it

Did you know that the Vatican has had its own radio program for 80 years?

Over the decades, Vatican Radio has - among other things - helped unite war refugees and their families after World War II, and broadcast to those behind the Iron Curtain during the years of European communism. Pretty cool!

I enjoyed reading the history. You can read it, as well as the Vatican’s plans for the radio’s future, at CatholicNews.com.

Heart, Mind and Strength

Join me for a radio adventure!

I’m so blessed to have received the invitation of a lifetime from the very kind folks at Ave Maria Radio.  Tuesday at noon ET, I will be guest hosting the wonderful “Heart, Mind and Strength” program of Dr. Greg and Lisa Popcak.  Greg and Lisa are heading up a marriage conference in Australia, so I’ll be sitting in and enjoying some time with their radio audience. I know many of you join me in being major fans of Greg and Lisa, and that you love their show as much as I do. You’re invited to listen live via the Ave Maria Radio website at www.AveMariaRadio.net.  I’d also love it if you feel like calling in and visiting - dial 877-573-7825 to be a part of the show.  And if you can spare a prayer, send that my way too!

Catholic Radio Comes To DC

Catholic Radio launches today in the DC area at 1160 AM, WMET.

I’m not sure why it should, but it pleases me that the effort is being launched by two Texan brothers.

Gives me a clean-up at the corral image, I guess, although the brothers in question are businessmen, not a posse.
