From the New York Times comes the story of Yitta Schwartz who died last month leaving nearly 2,000 living descendants—including 15 children, over 200 grandchildren and too many great- and great-great grands to count.
There were so many occasions that, to avoid scheduling conflicts, one of her sons was assigned to keep a family calendar. But her family insists that Mrs. Schwartz had no trouble remembering everyone’s name and face.
What a wonderful, beautiful legacy!

My youngest sister has spent the summer in Italy working as a nanny.
Today she comes home, and will be attending the community college near our house. She’s going to be living with us.
