A Week of Rosary Blogging

In which I get to "play" at Faith & Family Live

Hi everyone! It’s an honor and a delight to be guest blogging this week at one of my favorite places on the internet.

A month or so ago, I asked Danielle if I could spend a week doing some rosary blogging here during October, which is the Month of the Rosary (because, you know, y’all don’t hear enough about my devotion to Mary), and she said yes!

A little about me, before I tell you my plan for the... READ MORE

Prayers Requested

I just wanted to put in a request for prayers for Sarah Reinhard and her family.

They are having a hard week.

Regulars here will know Sarah as a guest-blogger, podcaster and frequent columnist here at Faith and Family Live.

Two days ago, Sarah’s brother-in-law passed away. Last night, her 5-year-old had some sort of seizure.

I’ll let Sarah herself tell the story. From me: just a request for prayers.

Your virtual family is praying for you and your actual family, Sarah!

Mary Moments Carnival

A little shameless Mary promotion

You all may or may not know that I’ve been involved in a little project known as the Mary Moments Carnivals over the last two years.

Well, today, in honor of Mary’s month of May, I’m hosting a carnival over at my blog, and I’d like to invite you all to join me there.  If you have a blog, you can leave a link to your own post (feel free to dig in your archives), and if you don’t, you can leave your thoughts in the combox.

The theme for this Mary Moments Carnival is parenthood.  You don’t have to be a parent to have thoughts on Mary and parenthood, you know.

So come on over and join us.  It’s still May and however you have (or haven’t) honored Mary this month, you can be a part of the bouquet we’re preparing for her!

A Guest Blogger for the Mary Month of May

Meet Sarah Reinhard

I am pleased to announce that this week, Faith and Family Live will feature the talents of Catholic mom blogger Sarah Reinhard.

I am thrilled that Sarah, a self-confessed “Mary geek,” has agreed to spend this last week of May blogging about Mary here with us.

Some of you might recognize this dynamic wife and mother of two from her column at Catholic Exchange, her own popular blog, or her Twitter page.

I’ve grown to know and love Sarah through the faith, love, humor, and devotion to Mary she has shared online over the years, and I just know that you all will be inspired by her Mary-blogging here this week.

Welcome to Faith and Family Live, Sarah! We’re so glad you’re here!
