Celebrate The Pope's Anniversary
Posted by Rebecca Teti in Faith on Friday, June 24, 2011
June 29th—appropriately, the Solemnity of Ss. Peter & Paul—the Holy Father will celebrate his 60th anniversary of ordination.
Catholics world-wide are invited to participate in 60 hours of adoration for vocations, and parishes across the country are joining in.
You can download a prayer card to remind you from the USCCB website.
I like the novena for priests we’re already in the middle of better, and the timing couldn’t be more apt.
Wouldn’t it be nice as well to offer 60 rosaries for Benedict’s intentions from the Faith & Family community?
Leave your pledge in comments if you’re able and so inclined. Thanks!
as of Wednesday evening (EST), we’re at 27
A Bouquet for Arwen and Her Babies
Posted by Danielle Bean in News on Tuesday, May 24, 2011
Oh, this is a lovely idea!
Some of the (many) folks who love Arwen and Bryan and all their adorable babies are putting together a spiritual bouquet for them, collecting prayers on their behalf.
I hope that lots and lots of us here at Faith & Family will click over to offer good wishes and prayers in support of the amazing Mosher family!
Prayer for the Pope

“Fr. Z.” has a nice idea: he’s collecting a spiritual bouquet for the Holy Father’s name day, the feast of St. Joseph.
Rather than collecting future commitments, you “log in” the prayers you say for the Pope each day between now and then.
Click on over to participate…and spread the word.
