We celebrated the start of our school year with a boat ride and dinner at the lake last night.
Kids swam. Grown ups connected. Loons laughed. Sun set.
God’s goodness is far-reaching. It found us even here, on a tiny bit of land, on a little lake in New Hampshire.

We’ve been on vacation this whole week. My husband’s parents generously invited us to stay with them at a house they rented on a small lake in northern Michigan.

Swim season has begun in earnest around our home. This weekend, we celebrated Adam’s 8th grade graduation with two days of family, food and splashes!

A Summer Tease

Temperatures here yesterday reached the high 80’s.
We were impressed. Late April just doesn’t do that here in New Hampshire.
The weather man said the heat wouldn’t last, so we decided to make the most of it with our first lake trip of the season.
