On the seventh anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, let us recall the words Pope Benedict prayed when he visited Ground Zero this past spring:
O God of love, compassion, and healing,
look on us, people of many different faiths and traditions,
who gather today at this site,
the scene of incredible violence and pain.
