Walking in Someone Else’s Shoes

As I sit and write this, I am perched on the ninth floor of a high rise library in downtown Chicago.
The space I sit in is stunningly silent, but every few minutes bursts of sound arise from the street below to remind me that outside the window the street below is teeming with humanity.

Danielle’s and Awen’s posts this week have me thinking about places our family prays together.
Family prayers prior to mealtime and at bedtime are standards, but so is our morning drive time prayer. Disney DOs and DON’Ts

As you read this, my mom and I will be traveling five hours south of my home in Fresno to spend Saturday at Disneyland with my brother, his wife and my adorable nephews.
