For the most part, I am a victim of second-hand sports around here.
I get exposed to the latest sports news as a matter of course because I happen to be in the adjoining room while ESPN covers the good stuff—like that soap opera for men that’s been taking place in Oakland the past couple of days.

I think I’ve read this email before, but watching the video is especially inspiring. My favorite line: being invisible is “the cure for the disease of self-centeredness.” Being a wife and mother grants us so many opportunities to grow in virtue and holiness—and humility!
