Pope John Paul II

A tribute from the USCCB - Enjoy!

Baby Talk

Two thoughts: one, this video is sure to make Arwen smile. And two: somedays, I think this is what I sound like to my boys. (in the words of the Talking Heads: you’re talking a lot, but you’re not saying anything.) But these babies, they are saying something!

Faith & Family On CatholicTV

Hear all about our Mom's Day Away!

If you missed my interview on CatholicTV‘s This Is the Day last Friday, you can check it out here on video. My segment, in which I talk about the Faith & Family Mom’s Day Away (There is still time to register!), begins at about 18:00.

90 Seconds of Lenten Reflection

Catholic Digest has an inspiring series of Lenten video reflections that I am pleased to share with our readers here at Faith & Family. This one was for Ash Wednesday, and I will be posting one each Sunday for the remainder of Lent. Take 90 seconds to refocus your attention, reflect on the Gospel, and turn your heart toward God.

Kicking Off Lent

Enjoy this video to get excited for the season!

Planned Parenthood Bunnies

Save the baby humans!

Wow. If you’ve seen that too-dumb-for-words “We Won’t Go Back” pro-abortion ad MoveOn.org released a few weeks ago, you will be gratified to learn that those who oppose government funding of Planned Parenthood are fighting back with their own hard-hitting ads. There are no graphic images in this one, but it’s alarming nonetheless. In all the right ways.

10 Hours Making, 2 Minutes Breaking

If you have the patience, here are instructions for making an Angry Birds cake.

Or you could be like me and just marvel at the video.

Miracle of Life

a beautiful video

Thanks, Fr. Tim!

Up on the Roof

More tales from the DIY Diary

My cousin emailed me asking about how much snow was on the roof because houses with low-incline roofs were in danger of collapsing.

She recommended that we try to chip away at the ice dams on the edge of the roof that prevent drainage.

The idea of the roof caving in was certainly enough to motivate me to take action.

So, I grabbed the ladder, a shovel, my phone (just in case I landed somewhere... READ MORE
