The song is from God’s perspective, about how He tries over and over to tell us how much He loves us, and how it is so hard to get through to us. Last night was one of those looooong nights, filled with thinking and waiting and timing my aches and pains. I had lots of contractions—until I got up to do some laundry (so the boys would have uniforms while I was at the hospital). That’s when everything stopped.
