We have been savoring and discussion Pope Benedict XVI’s annual message for World Communications Day since its release on January 24, but tomorrow is actual the time to celebrate World Communications Day. In light of the video below and the Holy Father’s call this year for our priests to “respond pastorally by putting the media ever more effectively at the service of the Word”, I thought I’d pose the following questions:
How are your parish and diocese responding to the call to employ new media such as blogging, social network, and podcasting in spreading the good news? I would love specific examples of success stories. Also, who are some of your favorite examples of priests who “get” what they are being called to do with this message?
